Give. But give rightly. Absorb. But only what rightly lives and belongs in that sacred land inside your chest. Once this balance is regained, your heart will be able to see, love, give, and take in the right way. Your heart is your true eye. Your heart is the master of the body. Its’ purpose is far too noble to go unrealized. Its’ palace is far too precious to go unguarded. Guard it. And guard it well…because every created thing yearns to fulfill its’ purpose.

Sins of the tongue, such as backbiting and slander, are a reflection of the status of the heart.

If you’ve really attained piety in your heart, you’ll find that your limbs will follow suit and act in obedience to Allah.

My dear heart never think you are better than others.
Listen to their sorrows with compassion.
If you want peace, do not harbor bad thoughts, do not gossip,
and do not teach what you do not know.

You wanted strength, so you went to the gym. You put weight on the bar and you lifted. When you wanted more strength, you added more weight. And yet when you seek strength of heart, mind and soul, you think it comes without lifting.

Never Do The Love Of Music, And The Love Of Quran Come Together In A Person’s Heart, Except That One Expels The Other.

The ailment of the body is in sickness and that of the heart is in sins. A delicious meal cannot benefit the body when the person is sick and likewise, the heart cannot taste the sweetness of worship if it is full of sins.

The purpose wasn’t for Ibrahim to kill his son; rather it was to sacrifice him in his heart so all love belonged to Allah alone.

Seek an answer from your heart, even if people give you answer after answer.

Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one’s weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart.

He it is Who sent down calmness and tranquility into the hearts of the believers, that they may grow more in Faith along with their present Faith…
